Peter Edward Muccio was born in Attleboro, Massachusetts and was raised in Michigan. From an early age, Pete has been involved in athletics, having started running competitively at the age of four. Pete's diversity of talent and eclectic interests were evident from an early age. He competed in Model Rocketry competitions and won several awards at the National Association of Rocketry National Championships. He also earned a black belt in tae kwon do, played the piano and drums, and was involved in theatrical productions. But the direction of his future career began to be self-evident when he became involved with student government, debate, and theater at Big Rapids High School in Michigan where he also captained the cross country and track teams. As a high school student, he had the opportunity to utilize his French language skills when he traveled to Europe.

While in college, Pete continued his involvement with student government and athletics at Alma College in Michigan, where he carried a double major in economics and political science. During college, Pete also participated in the Model United Nations program and was on the World Champion team four years running. As an undergraduate, he held various student government offices, captained the cross-country and track teams, and was a DJ on a commercial radio station. In addition, he served as General Manager one year at WQAC, the local college radio station.

Pete received his law degree from the University of Denver where he simultaneously earned a Masters of Law in Taxation from DU and the Daniels School of Business. While in law school, he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Transportation Law Journal and clerked for a local criminal attorney. At Hopkins Tschetter Sulzer, Pete has welcomed the opportunity to represent diverse client interests both in and out of the courtroom. Pete, along with Wes Wollenweber, leads the firm's HOA practice.

An avid hockey fan, Pete continues his lifelong love of athletics and is an enthusiastic skier, golfer, and hiker.
