COLORADO SPRINGS APARTMENT ASSOCIATION HONORS HTS

June 2007

Hopkins Tschetter Sulzer was honored to accept the prestigious title of “AACS 2007 Supplier of the Year” as granted by the Apartment Association of Colorado Springs! This award goes to individuals or companies who go above and beyond their standard AACS membership, including the sponsoring and attending of events held by the organization and a commitment to serving the best interests of the multi-family housing industry. 
According to AACS Member Coordinator Debbie Schloesser, Hopkins Tschetter Sulzer  “has done extremely well in stepping up and supporting both the AACS and its members.”  HTS Partner Vic Sulzer serves as a member of the AACS Board as well as teaching Basic Eviction and Non-Monetary Eviction classes to multi-family housing professionals in Colorado Springs. Senior Managing Partner Mark Tschetter is known for his always-available access to both the Association and its Members.  In addition to teaching CAM classes for the AACS, Mark also teaches Basic and Advanced Fair Housing workshops for the Association.  Mark and Vic expressed their pride in the strong and positive rapport the Firm has with the AACS and they are greatly appreciative for all the support that the Association has given to Hopkins Tschetter Sulzer.

FIRM PARTNER NAMED AAMD PERSON OF THE MONTH

April 2007

Each month, the Apartment Association of Metro Denver honors one of its members by naming him or her as “Person of the Month.” To earn this prestigious title, the person must demonstrate excellence in his or her profession and be a great contributor to the organization. The AAMD April 2007 “Person of the Month” award went to Senior Managing Partner Mark Tschetter.  
Mark who is a founding partner of the Firm has, since the inception of his legal career, primarily focused on landlord/tenant matters. He is regarded as one of the top legal experts in multi-family housing law in Colorado. Mark takes an aggressive but pragmatic common sense approach to the practice of law.
Because Mark believes that better-educated clients are less likely to get into legal trouble,he established Firm workshops designed to educate and assist owners, managers, and staffs on today’s complex landlord issues. An enthusiastic teacher, Mark has created and personally teaches many of the FIRM workshops as well as teaching them for the AAMD, AASC, BARHAR, IROC and other multi-family industry groups and associations.  In addition to teaching CAM classes for the AAMD and AASC, Mark also serves on a number of industry related committees.
